Testimonials and Comments for Michelle
and leave friendship probe type notes on their
front door anymore (maybe they did in a more
idyllic America, you know, "back in the day"),
but Michelle did and I couldn't be happier
about it. She's since 1.) Brought me pizza,
2.) Provided me with hours of stimulating
conversation, 3.) Gotten me a job,
4.) Educated me on the history of the
neighborhood that I live in, 5.) Introduced me
to Wordster and 6.) Wowed me with her
knowledge and/or interest in just about
anything you can think of.
Chalk all of this up to her already impressive
resume of community and union organization
and her current endeavors in nursing and care
for the disabled and...well, it's not up to me to
nominate people for sainthood, but if it were
Michelle would be at the top of my list for
sure. Best. Neighbor. Ever.
gives me life and has helped create me
into the person that I am. You rock!
stronger little woman, she once carried me
around for like 2 mins( weighing twice her
weight and then some). I miss the swing
dancing in the hallways.I just remembered I
once gave Michelle a 3 hundred dollar
brand new time piece which was
mysteriously acquired. She looked so sad in
division so I handed it over to her. She
smiled wide eyed and asked where I got it
from and I replied with a wink. She never
mentioned it again and I just thought of it
now. Umm Michelle money is kinda tight
over here so if your not using it or. ;)~
vibrating cellphones, there we were
these midwestern coeds, trying to make
the west coast believe there was more
to our land than farms. "no, we
really are from cities. with big
buildings and everything. no cows."
for many years, michelle and i slept
mere feet or inches from one another
and i have loved every moment. i
sometimes make believe she will start
to miss her roots so bad she'll head
my way again. i love her a lot. even
though now she has her own vibrating
cell phone. also, michelle can
appreciate a good burger more than any
other soul in so-cal, except maybe
dalasie.
demeanor fool you, Michelle has a
wicked intellect, and doesn't miss a
trick. I love that she's my social
concience. An activist with a sense of
humor. She has seen the underbelly of
humanity yet still retains a refreshing
naivete and wonder. She is bright and
fun to hang out with and I'm proud to
share her blood. I'm so glad she's
here in L.A. with me, if only so she
can tell me which council-person to
vote for.
from an old willow tree. It had
secret hiding places, ropes and a
wonderful red poka dot curtain. If it
wasn't for her carefree determination,
sense of wonder, warmth of heart, and
precision in word play we would've
never finished. I believe it's still
standing along a pink blue sea just
past Dictionopolis.
its promises of glamour, fame, and union
organizing. give her back. visiting chicago
without seeing michelle is like visiting nyc
without getting mugged on the subway.
something is missing. something familiar.
something that makes it feel like home. i miss
you michelle.
