watching my crazy roommate eat cream
cheese with a spoon. too bad we're never
on the same continent anymore! One day
soon we'll be neighbors in the "manzana
grande." Miss you and love you!
not human nor a horse. Sayuri is
actually a highly complex machine,
designed to run on minimal sleep and
food (such as handfuls of cereal) while
she pumps out 20-page paper after
paper. However, sometimes there was an
error in the system, and Sayuri would
get drunk, leading her friends to
shout, "Yay! Drunk Sayuri! We love
drunk Sayuri!" To which Sayuri would
respond, "Don't you guys like me when
I'm sober?" Yeah, drunk Sayuri and
sober Sayuri the machine are both
pretty damn cool.
don't coverse often, but she really likes it
when I feed her apples and slowly stroke her
mane. I suppose you could say that we have a
deep unspoken connection. She'll gaze at me
inquisitively, and I'll slap her on the butt. Stuff
like that.
because I'm up at 3 in the morning! You
know, back in the day (OK, like a few
months ago), if I were up at this hour
on my computer, Sayuri would be up
writing her thesis. And we'd both be
all insane from staring at our
computers for so long, so we'd go sit
on the floor in one of our rooms and
talk about boys. And then suddenly it'd
be like 8 in the morning and we'd still
be staring at our computers trying to
get work done (because we'd spent all
that time talking about boys), but now
we could be louder about our insanity.
We spent a lot of time shrieking like
the little kids at the daycare across
the street when our other roommates
weren't home. Sayuri is the best silly
shrieking partner! Additionally, Sayuri
has THE best legs of anyone I know.
