pretty normal person... if "normal"
means writing emails about what is
presently in her lunch-eating mouth,
what the people around her smell like,
or what she saw on the streets of new
york on her way to work that morning.
erica appears in my life like a
monarch butterfly, but year-round,
thankfully. i'm sometimes puzzled why
she keeps me around, but all-times
happy that she does; i would miss her
evil laugh, otherwise. new parents in
the city should absolutely contact
her; i can't think of anyone i'd
rather go baby-walking with... makes
me want to have a baby, just so's i
could...sigh...
she does, and I do. Erica is my
bluebird, and I'm really really
pleased she keeps me around. She's
productively absurd. Maybe
that's "bemused"; I dunno. Erica also
has some of the most delightful hair
on the planet, which must be part of
the deal, and which she fully
deserves. I want her new child to be
my future children's babysitter. And
she will be "Tanta Erica" to my kids.
Their New York auntie. Takes em to
shows. For egg creams. Tells their old
man to lighten up. I hope I dream
