Benji when i had come to new york for
the weekend and found myself at blue
room one night. i remember asking Benji
for a lime with my tequila... It's been
a long time since i've enjoyed the
taste of a good lime...
phone right now, no joke(thanks to
Sam, that lovely girl). He's singing
to a room full of people no doubt, but
I'm sure it's just for me. That's how
Benji makes you feel, like you're the
only one there. What a rock star he
really is! Anyway, wish I was in that
room, but for now I'm lucky I have a
phone and a friend, and a Benji.
wonderful people, as well the lovably
infamous tequila gimlet;) Love this
guy. Truly.
in London and locked himself in the toilets of
Soho clubs to "write poetry. Ten years later
he had lost the hair, come out of the toilet
and escaped to Manhattan. We went to a
graveyard and a gangster club. He talked
about Blake and in a roundabout way
introduced me to a girl called Gaby. Three
years later Gaby is my girlfriend and I'm
halfway through a film about Blake. This
makes me wonder... Is Benji an emissary of
fate, guiding us all toward our true
destinies? Is he just a guy who enjoys
poetry and lesbians? Or is he, in fact, a 38 yr
old Spanish actor named Jordi Molla?
Hmmm...
could imagine...
His reputation proceeds him in the UK...
