About Me:
I play hard. I love deeply. I laugh really loud and look
for things that make me say "now there is something I
didn't think I would hear when I woke up this morning." I
paint portraits of the human spirit. I like to inspire
people. I love people and they piss me off all at the same
time. I love Los Angeles, it is my hometown. I am happiest
when I am doing something way bigger than myself that
scares the crap out of me and has an uncertain outcome.

Who I Want to Meet:
I want to meet a powerful, spirtual, sexual woman who is a
lot of fun and makes me laugh. I would love to have a
partner in dancing spastically through this existance of
ours and celebrating the whole damn thing. Someone who
loves deeply and laughs loudly. Someone with a bit of a
wicked side who is fun. I am looking for a woman who is a
presence. Tall is good, but a woman who alters a room when
she walks in, like she owns the damn place.

drink of water!" He is kind, SEXY, and
hilarious! I could sit and listen to
Shaman and Timber shoot the shit all
day! I just want to thank him for
helping to make my first Burning Man
beautiful. I love you man!
xoxoxo-D
recording of me made in 1999 while on
a hallucenogenic spirit walk in bear
totem form induced by some salvia
divinorium and mushroom tea the Shaman
served me: "Shaman friendster photo...
scary. Shaman friend reality...
pleasant. Good man, him. Chicks way
hotter him than date he has. Wonder
why? Son nice has he. Took some of
crap mine up to Burning Man on his
truck this one year and totally didn't
ask for a thing return in. A cool dude
what. Lot of hair has still me unlike.
Dude I am still not feeling anything,
are you sure there's anything
woooo hah the wallpaper is talking me
now [barks] the horror, the horror."
and all that. What I have to say is
this: THIS MAN ROCKS. PERIOD! His
mom and my mom are twin sisters from
different mothers, which I *think*
makes him my brother from another
planet... Anyway, this IS my brother -
his actions, words, deeds toward me are
as a brother and I SOOO DIG HIM!
Balance when I see this Man. There's a
creative spirit that burns hot and
powerful withing him. When I'm around
him, I feel peaceful. I beleive that he
has only begun to tap into his gifts and
the best is yet to come. Thank you for
the warm welcome my new friend.
paintbrush gliding across my flesh;
the beauty of his art; the intensity,
joy and calm that is received while
gazing into his eyes; the knowledge
that you can trust in his strength and
his spirit; the journeys that can be
shared in quite meditation; and the
fun that is to be had while bouncing
on his knee... This is Shaman. And
there is soo much more. I adore you,
and look forward to a billion dances.
a link between the material world and
the spirit world, and provide that link
for the communities they are a part of.
Shaman does this...to be in his
presence is to bathe in divinity, peace,
warmth, laughter.
But, there's something else that this
Shaman does...he's lived, like, 927
lives in one lifetime. Hang out with
him for more than 20 minutes, and at
some point, he'll start telling you a
story about himself. It's exposition
usually grabs your attention, because
he'll say something like, "So there I
was, dressing a set for a porn movie
when two midgets covered in marmalade
start fighting over a can of hairspray..."
And you just KNOW you have to hear the
end of THIS one.
Hang out with Shaman for a few years and
you realize that he has had more jobs
than seems possible within the known
laws of space-time, has done more things
than seems right, has accomplished more
than...you get my point.
Hang out with Shaman for years and you
realize that he doesn't just provide
access to the divine. He provides
access to the raw, unadulterated
humanity that we all swim in every day,
except that HE has slogged through the
shit, endured strange times, and broken
through all manner of walls so that
YOU...all YOU have to do is hang out and
listen to the guy. If you're thinking
of going off and doing something with
your life, check in with your shaman,
because there is a high probability he's
already been there, done that and has
the t-shirt to prove it.
He's also touched thousands of lives
with his boundless, energetic spirit,
his enthusiasm, his stubborn refusal to
take no for an answer, from anyone, from
LIFE, his hair-trigger sense of humor
and his tremendous love for people.
He is a devoted father to one of the
most beautiful, enchanting and inspiring
children I know, who is most likely
going to take over the universe.
I love you madly, brother.
thinking: "Hey, that's a cool name he
came up with". Yeah, except it's not.
He's a Shaman. "What, like a real life,
honest to goodness.." -Yeah, that's
right. He's a Shaman. Deal with it.
You'll be so much happier when you do.
I've said this before, and it still
holds true. If the point of Life is to
go around, and come back, and go around
again and again until you get it Right,
then Coburn has maybe, MAYBE one more
go around. I can't imagine not having
him in my life. "Brother" doesn't begin
to describe what he is to me. Just do
yourself a favor and lay every bit of
who you are on the table when you meet
him. You'll never be so honored in your
life if you do.
smile and hug everytime I see this
handsome soul. Shaman has this way of
making you feel really loved and
welcomed. Just recently when I was
intoxicated at a decompression party
and staring aimlessly at the kitchen,
hungry...he swept up and cooked me a
meal. A modern day knight in shinning
armor. A girl should be so lucky. Not
to mention that he had this really hot
black bondage outfit on that even made
this lesbian look twice!
that the Shamanatrix doesn't - it feels
vast! I am humbled by his over-the-top
contributions to humanity, and even
more so by his flowing compassion for
those who might not get that anywhere
else. He's indifferent to flattery -
tough shit, Sha - YOU ARE MAGICAL! You
shatter the ceiling of generosity and
you have an exceedingly unfair amount
of really fucking cute maleness, too!
are the windows to the human spirit and
his hands are tools to unleash that
spirit from the confines of the heart.
He is a miracle worker, truly magical.
He is not of this earth. He is a gift -
graced to us by the divine. Thank you
Coburn, for being alive.
