Amelia has dreams like this:

A bleached, warped fragment of tree, the roots a bare Joshua-like tangle out of the straight shot of the trunk... the night is black and cloudless, the water churns black and white against the sand. A pale girl with dark curly hair rides down the beach on a dark horse. but it was unclear whether I was the tree, the girl, the horse, the raindrops round and perfect on the girl's skin, the streaming drops of sweat on the horse's neck, or the horse's tangle mane getting in the girl's eyes. It sounds crazy, but I know I was one of these things. The scene was watched, as it passed, by a small dark-eyed boy.

Amelia played a piece of mine some years back and did a great job, even if it was a strange piece. She was really open to my ideas and it was great to work with her. Amelia: played any microtones lately?..

Amelia looks really cute when she's happy. Her cheeks become little mini apples and her eyes light up like a star's reflection on a still dark water. What a beauty.

I dont think theres anything more fun in the universe than getting blazed with amelia and remembering the night with katie straddling the swing and swinging sideways while stroking her hair. i love the fact that amelia finds that event just as incredibly hilarious as i do. i think she was wearing those pleated cuffed jean shorts that night as well. and we wont talk about what happened to amelia on the park bench a few minutes earlier....
i miss amelia so much. sometimes it really strikes me that i havent seen her in so long and i really miss being around someone so incredible (and hot)

i met amelia way back when we were babies at new york strings and she was super cool, hot, and hilarious. a new music group in the motherland sounds great but hey, i'm in LA too and would love to make up for lost time also! so come on out here and we'll hit the one cool bar in this whole smoggy city:)
