In fact, she's actually like the reverse of that pill, because when you want to feel like the plane's flying super fast or the boat's making crazy waves is when you want to take a Jessamine.       • So I actually don't remember much about the Power Rangers except for the fact that the pink one henceforth went to be Julie Emerick on Falicity. A step up, I have to say. So you're probably wondering why I'm talking about Power Ragers. Well, as per our discussion, Jessamine and I are 2 of possibly 5? "rangers" that fight for and alongside Asian-American women writers. As soon as we find the other rangers, we will unite to form one HUGE ranger/automaton (something like the 50-foot woman) that will then serve our purposes of deobjectifying the "oriental muse" as well as spreading feminist fervor amongst the literate population! With the fabulous (and always inimitable) Jessamine at the helm, the world is our oyster!

      • From my no-neck troll days to now,
        Jessamine (I call her Jie Jie) has been
        the c-raziest but most awesome
        seestah. For a certain period in her
        teen years, Jessamine yearned to be a
        Broadway diva a la Lea Salonga
        in "Miss Saigon." Well, I'm glad she's not
        playing tuneful Asian war
        brides...rather, we now compose our
        own spontaneous off-key operettas of
        improvised lyrics - give us a word and
        we'll sing and dance your ears off!

        with just a wee bit of devilishness to boot.
        She wears shoes and attempts knitting projects
        that would send lesser mortals (i.e., me)
        home crying to mama. Not only can she
        accomplish the impossible, yarn- and
