1. MAIN ACTIVITIES

a. Media Press Conference

Secretariat of pesta tanglung UKM, will be organizing a media press conference in UKM as a foundation step for Pesta Tanglung to launch its activities.

Our Board of committee will be announce to public about our three main activities, this year concept, objective, mission, main media, official beverage sponsor and official radio. Beside that, board of committee will also announce to public, Secretariat of pesta tanglung UKM will give the fully support to government on the programmed of Long Life Learning.
b. Cultural Carnival

This carnival will be held at Majlis Perbandaran Kajang multi - purpose hall in co-operation with 19 Chinese Associations from Hulu Langat area as the co-organizer for this event. This event is a combination of Pesta Tanglung two main activities, which are the debating competition and exhibition. Besides that, in this event we will have variety of booths representing from Chinese associations, schools, companies and charity organizations to be involved in this event. There will be a total of 30 - 40 of booths that will be segregated to 4 categories. These categories are handicrafts, foods, drinks and souvenirs.
c.Stage Performance

The public are hoped to gain from the Pesta Tanglung concept which will be imparted from this activity. The performers are made up of UKM students who will undergo training by experienced drama and dancing teachers known throughout the nation.
This performance attracts more than 4,000 people each year. The audience are made up of students from UM, UPM, MMU, Uniten, UTAR (Sg. Long), TAR College, New Era College and the public.
