DJ Sunevil
started off spinning on the San Francisco underground party scene in the mid 90s which included the pilgrimage to Burning Man in its early, smaller incarnations, to which he consistently returned and blossomed along with its numbers over the years. San Francisco allowed many opportunities to play Breakbeats for large venues to very open minds at Psychedelic conferences, outdoor festival stages, Club 1015 Folsom events, Exotic Erotic Balls, and the Lolla Palooza national tour.

In the beginning of the new century, Sunevil packed his bags to explore fresh grounds in the East to be reborn with inspiration. By traveling to Japan and living there for over 2 years, seeds were sown of new concepts in sound, which opened genres of deeper, harder grooves that pulsed within the nation.
Taking on the club scene in Tokyo meant adopting the Techno,
Deep House and Electronic flavors known to the dance floors
of the fast paced, high-tech fashion world of their animatrix. Collaborations in Japan included giant outdoor trance events near Mt. Fuji, fashion shows, commercials and main stream club events alongside DJ Tsuyoshi, DJ Duck Rock
and DJ Nick Taylor from Austraila.

To rekindle projects at home, Sunevil traveled back into Los Angeles to catch up on the current ebb and flow tip of the London inspired sounds of Electroclash, mixed with Rock and 80s that has been termed Dirty Disco. Here he continues to perform mixes throughout major clubs, sharing bills with DJ Tiga, DJ Peaches, and DJ Dimitri. Not to mention the continuous slew of underground parties and fashion events to invoke the spirit of Bacchanalia to all those in need of a good exorcising.
