I've known Camille since we were 5. I
remember one time she spilled spaghetti
on my carpet and started crying. She
taught me about the Beatles and we
learned to play "8 days a week" on a
little keyboard she had. We did so
many things as kids-- trick or treating,
hobby city, horse back riding. I will
always love her for the things she has
taught me.
I randomly met Camille in California
back when we were only about 16. We
both shared a healthy disdain for
suburbia and instantly bonded
watching dark depressing movies and
listening to music taking shots of god
knows what in her room.
I remember I asked her to play Janis
Joplins Summertime (not thinking she
would know it, but
hoping) This is Camille though, so of
course the next thing I know she is
singing and playing one of
my favorite songs.
Camille is a beautiful women and artist
I have not seen her in years but I am
sure she is still amazing and a true artist
in every sense of the
word.
Camille is an unfortunate midget.. she has
married probably the tallest man in the world
and it has given her quite a complex. She is
somehow under the impression that wearing
high-heels will somehow elevate her to the
status of a normal, functioning human being...
she is wrong, so very wrong. I wish she were
taller sometimes, cause she says funny shit..
only I have no ears on my knees with which to
listen to her.
sorry darlin you are going to need stilts.. or
even better.. have you ever seen Mad Max
Beyond Thunderdome.. you and jurend could
be like "Master-Blaster".. all youll need is one
of those baby carriers. I am sure you could find
one to fit in! xx
Camille is a beautiful soul and I wish
I was around her more! We converge on
the total love of making and writing
music. She's a fantastic singer and
songwriter! I've had the pleasure of
jamming many a Bowie and VU tune since
I've known her, those are always great
times. Depsite the ocean and the rest
of the continent I hope we work
together again someday! She's got the
it! I knew her when! Interview me for
the "Camille : Driven" rock doc!
I miss ya Camille!
She's like a gorgeous layer-cake of
beauty, brains, talent, and hilarity.
She's one of those people who will
keep you thinking really deeply about
a topic you discussed weeks before,
or will have you laughing so much
root beer comes out your nose. And
she is also the most sublime
songstress ever. Ahhh, heaven, thy
name is Camille....

goofy marlene dietrich. Silly, yet
relevant. It's fun to watch her (but
don't stare).

cake
beauty, brains, talent, and hilarity.
