      • That Carrie. She's cool as a cucumber behind the wheel and the most stylish thing to happen to the Mad River Valley since coveralls. She's famously unapologetic about her life, and well she should be. She swims gracefully by all of life's little innanities, saving her thoughts for those things worth thinking about, like friends and family and growing things and plucking the ol' banjo. But don't put her into a river without a life-jacket. She keeps me honest and brings me coffee in the morning, which sure is nice.

      • Carrie and I carry stress in the jaw. We like to drive around in the woods pretending we're slack jawed but truth be told there's a lot of disgust for injustice condenced in the backs of those cheeks. The benefit is that we don't drool on the pillow. The negitive is that it turns the teeth in crooked ways. The other positive is that we are among the few people who can bite you and never let go. Like weasels. Or badgers. only bigger.

        with her definitely increased my
        coolness back in the day. she always
        knew where the party was, that might
        be because the party always followed
        her, so where ever she went the party
        was sure to be there soon.

      • Carolina is probably one of the most
        resourful people I know, as well as one
        of the most optimistic and positive.
        She's got a twang in her voice that
        sounds really cute when she let's it out
        and she likes to sing and write ditties,
        which are always pleasant, sort of like
        lullabyes where you could drink a beer
        while you sing them and still feel like
        your mom is putting you to bed in the
        room you grew up in. She's always up to
        try something new, she's extraordinarily
        bright and socially conscious. oh yea,
        and silly.
