started dating. Before this I had
only ever travelled with the boys, and
made the mistake of reserving a room
in a hotel that was not the slightest
bit romantic and tolerable only to a
group of guys used to sleeping in
gross hostel dorm rooms with old food
crumbs on the beds. This place
received a one star rating, and it
didn't deserve that. She was
horrified when we first walked in. In
the middle of the night she got bit by
a mosquito and woke me up freaking
out. "oh my god! what is that!," she
screamed pointing to the bite. Mocking
her excitement, I asked her if she'd
ever been bit by a mosquito in the
past and if anything terrible had
happened as a result. In any case,
she's way more relaxed now and I'm way
more sensitive. We make quite a team
and I love her my whole life.

stacey is awesome...she not only
cracks me up but makes me think about
important things..i have had a lot of
fun being cynical with her..i hope we
have outgrown that
full effect, Estacita, Putnam pal,
Orange Grove roomie, and one of my
oldest, most cherished friends. She
also has killer hair. :)
