Fun loving, free spirit who thinks San Francisco is great, I moved here two Septembers ago and have really started to feel connected to this place. Not that I don't love my hometown... But this is a place where I can breathe and live at my own pace, taking the time to explore things, without feeling like I'm nuts. I love that on any day i could see someone dressed up in a costume walking around the city, and people here are fine with that. I'm a big fan of costumes. I feel really lucky for how much green there is in this city, but I feel like when I really want to connect with what's outside, I need to be lost in the woods so I can just sit.
So I had a trampoline when I was in college. Senior year my room had tall ceilings so I bought one of those small round ones because it's nearly impossible to be sad, annoyed, or bothered in any way when you're jumping up and down with your hair flopping around. Where is my trampoline now? Well, at the airport on my way to SF, despite my assurances that it did in fact fit within carry on size requirements, my trampoline was confiscated. So now it is being used to entertain airport employees worldwide. But I'm not too upset, I think of it as my way of giving back to humanity.
