Alternative Rock and World Music Fusion
All that springs out of the earth we step on are products of various elements and simultaneous forces acting on just one. Dahon is not different from this. In need of a fertile soil foundation, seeds from which its soul comes, clouds of anger weeping life, and a center-stage blessing from the Lights Man of the sky.
Boastful of its variety, Dahon expresses feelings of different size, color and hue. Confronting lessons carried by the wind from proximity or from an alien country, shouting from the littlest pains from its motherland to the grandest of feasts that makes the world trip the light fantastic.
BIRTH of DAHON

Almost two years ago, Coy wrote some lines and asked Twitch to put together riffs for what he wrote. They made a few songs but were never arranged for a full band. The dream of forming a band was crippled when Twitch flew to US where she stayed for more than a year. When Twitch got back from the US, they started to look for people to play in the band. Y, a friend of Coy, coincidentally came down from Baguio and agreed to play drums for Dahon. Thanks to philmusic.com and their musicians wanted site, Dahon found Leo and Dars playing lead and bass guitar, respectively. The band came together for the very first time on July 25, 2005.

Our music revolves around Alternative Rock with a twist of world music. With influences including--Jazz, World, a lot of Rock's branches, and Contemporary Ethno--Dahon's music, as mentioned above, thrives with assortment while keeping its roots intact.
