Age 24, born and raised in Tokyo, spent six years total in the States, wishing to come back to work in film, video, or any other fields of visual media and media arts, starting to lose hope in both Japan and U.S....

OK, that all sounded very depressing, but it's true anyway. I am still the J-POP freak, alcohol lover, the new technology guy, and the music game player that I had always been. The only thing that has changed of me is that I've been lost in space for a couple of years looking for jobs and starting to feel hopeless in Tokyo.

Third-generation Korean-Japanese. Japanese name is "Masanori MATSUMOTO".

First long stay in the U.S. at North Country School 1993-1995. Then, studied nonfiction film production at Hampshire College 1999-2003.

Worked for several different productions including Robot Communications, Digital Hollywood Entertainment, and Bloomberg News, none of them lasting long enough to get myself going...

Currently, I am an in-house intepreter for a Japanese manufacturing company. I still have not given up my ambitions to get back to the US for grad school, and picking up my camera to actually do something once again.
