Among her other qualities, she gets so
wrapped up in her reading that it takes
a nuclear explosion to distract her
from said occupation. And I totally dig

She'd turn her death rays on all the
right things, like SUVs and Jerry
Falwell, and she'd crush all resistance
to her not with the usual iron fist,
but with a sense of morbid whimsy and
surely make at least a few poor souls
dance for her amusement. She would also
borrow Spider Jerusalem's gleeful rage
and bowel disruptor, which she would
hopefully let me use sometimes. She
would unleash zombies into the world
because zombies are simply necessary,
and she would laugh every time a well-
meaning hero got one with a lawnmower.
She would let organized religion
survive as long as priests said, "I
kick ass for the Lord!" and she would
set things right in the world, as long
as your vision of "right" includes
social justice, environmental
responsibility, and killer robots.
statement: Julian is one of the best
people you will ever meet in your
entire goddamn life. She's kind and
generous and mushy and morbid and geeky
and adventurous. She has no tact, is
not normal in any way, and is basically
a midget. Julian is, truly and
utterly, my best friend in the entire
world, and I will love her forever, no
matter how many of my friends and
relatives she turns into bloodsucking
fiends of the night. She should live
forever.
