I moved in down the hall from her in our
freshman year of college. (She and her
dad still joke about how they saw
Brooke Shields and her mom moving in
next door. I remember seeing Ashley
sitting in an office chair in her new
room/cubicle, surrounded by
Bloomingdale's Big Brown Bags.) We
bonded across our shared neighbor's
love for Andrew Lloyd Webber at 6 am
on Sundays, and the rest is history.
Of course, Ashley is brilliant (but you
knew that already). I really admire
Ashley for her incredible ability to
remember just about any conversational
exchange she hears, which makes her
phenomenal at re-hashing interpersonal
interactions! Her sense of style is
impeccable, and I look forward to getting
wrapped in Saran Wrap for another party
with her someday.
mind as sharp as a knife and a gait as
strong...well I don't know what to
compare her gait to really but she
accompanies me on lots of walks with my
dogs and makes the time pass much more
enjoyably as a result. We won't talk
about her boba obsession...
