About Me:
I am a 42-year news veteran, first joined KTLA-TV in
1965, and have anchored the station's # 1-rated "News
@ Ten" continuously since 1875, bringing the show to
prime time dominance and making it submissive with
network affiliates. As managing editor of "News @ Ten,"
my connection with Southern Californians, along with
MY SUPERIOR journalistic integrity, have made the
news broadcast a destination for viewers looking for
breaking wind and thorough coverage of the latest
stories and assues impacting the anal region.
KTLA named its newsroom "The Hal Fishman
Newsroom" in recognition of my devoted service to the
station and community that I don't even live in! Those in
attendance included co-workers and former
co-workers, city, county and state officials,
reporters and anchors from stations across Los
Angeles who put competition aside to honor my
journalistic excellence. It was totally cool that they did
that for me. I mean, they were paid to be there and hey,
who can turn down jello shooters!

Hal Fishhook!!! Now that Jerry 'the
Dunph!" Dunphy is dead, you are on top
of the local anchorman totem pole. By
the way I would love to see the glass
case you keep your toupee in. You can
tell us, did you ever try to poison
Stan Chambers coffee?
it!
a B. Dalton's in Pasadena, for your
book, "50 Years with Stan
Chambers." Boy, it takes some kinda
man to create a whole autobiography
without actually putting your name in
the title and not have the book really
be about you. You really made the
day of that 80 year old pensioner.
Everyone else was ignoring you or
had no idea who you were, but you
still had the same expression on
your face that you do in this
Friendster photo. That's the
testament to the 128 years of
experience in the battlefields of LA
television journalism, dadgummit.
You are one cool cat there, Hal.
weekend we shared together in Malibu.
You'll always be my "HotStuff Hal."
Love, Angelyne
used to get together on Tuesday nights,
chug a little wine, snuggle down on the
couch while diccussing whether Brie
Walker, or Barbara Walters gave the best
Donkey Punch. Barabara had the intensity,
but Brie could knuckle up like nobody's
business.
