Addendum to my previous posting (below) of 6/2/2003: She just keeps getting better with age. I know it isn't just the digital cameras that are getting better and better. Riveting...Two thumbs Up Jennie!
Jennie is super-smart, funny, and just plain nice. So I had to kick her under the table once for talking a bit too long... As two lucky survivors of a less-than-braggable past employer, we will forever be bound by the code of friendship that kept us sane "back when we were at..." I can't wait to read Jennie's first novel! I thank her for keeping me inspired to work on mine, too. See you at brunch, J!
Jennie is totally awesome! It's fun to have a bud living just a few floors below me in the coolest apartment building in the city! Just like a tv show or something. She also was nice enough to set me up with her ex-boyfriend, not something a lot of people would do, and that says a lot about her! Plus she and I like to consume large quantities of sangria and what could be bad about that! Rock on, lady!!!
She was so adorable back in grammar
school, got even cuter in high school,
and so on...should have gone for her
when I had the chance! She was so
quiet and studious back then which made
her that much more attractive.
I agree with Courtney about the razor
sharp wit, yikes! I love talking to
her. I had no idea she was so pithy.
She is brilliant and has major guts to
start her own business in this economy;
she'll be a blazing success! If she
were in my field I'd recruit her in a
heartbeat.
Jennie has a razor sharp wit. Her
drunken comments about ex-boyfriends
are piercingly accurate. She is
intelligent, vivacious and charming. I
hope I get to hang out with her more in
the near future.
Being that Jennie is 9 days older than
me, she has imparted vast amounts of
wisdom. From our days at Pipe Dream,
where she reigned supreme over the
Features section and Quark Express, to
our introduction to the enticing combo
of blended kahlua & ice cream at
Friday's, she's been a kickass friend.
J's also smart & savvy & bold & fun.
And don't you forget it.
I almost missed meeting Jennie last
year, when I started working with her
and then she went freelance a month
later!! I'm so glad i didn't... we've
become buddies outside of the formal
office environment ... and not only do
we look alike (just ask the health care
peeps who've met us both), but we're
both giggly and funny and have wild
sides few see. I hope to hang out with
Jennie more in the future.
