ayte reals though im addicted to this sub-culture called hiphop. Yeah i must admit that i can't stand "most" mainstream rap, but i wont say that it isnt "true" hiphop, for what is "true" hiphop if the godfathers of hiphop can't even define that for themselves. yeah a lot of people say that they cant stand hip hop for its nothing but negativity, but really just like any type of music its a way of communication and speech...and there is a lot of negativity out there that needs to be looked at especially with some positive concern...so of course rappers will be rapping sometimes about negative situations and things, BUT if one sounds as if they are celebrating the negativity instead of trying to help it, to many of the godfathers they are considered to be weak supporters to hip hop which is making SOME of this "mainstream" rap a bad representation of the hip hop culture...ayte i need to shud up haha oopz here i go again talkin about the love of my life hahah..payzh
