to me but I can say at least this,
she's as much fun as her smile is
stunning.
A long time ago when
The Earth was green,
There was more kinds of animals
Than you've ever seen.
They'd run around free while
The ark was being born,
But the loveliest of them
All was the unicorn.
There were green alligators
And long-necked geese,
Some humpty back camels
And some chimpanzees,
Some cats and rats, and elephants
But sure as you're born,
The loveliest of all was the unicorn.
~ short interlude ~
Now God seen some sinnin'
And it gave him pain
And He says, "Stand back,
I'm going to make it rain."
He says, "Hey brother Noah,
I'll tell you what to do,
Build me a floating zoo."
"And take some of them green alligators
And long-necked geese,
Some humpty back camels
And some chimpanzees,
Some cats and rats, and elephants,
But sure as you're born,
Don't you forget my unicorn."
~ short interlude ~
Old Noah was there to
Answer the call,
He finished up making the ark
Just as the rain started fallin'.
He marched in the animals two by two,
And he called out as they went through,
"Hey Lord, I got You green alligators
And long-necked geese,
Some humpty back camels
And some chimpanzees,
Some cats and rats, and elephants,
But I'm so forlorn,
I just can't see no unicorn."
~ short interlude ~
Then Noah looked out
Through the driving rain,
Them unicorns were hiding,
Playing silly games,
Kicking and splashin'
While the rain was pourin'
Oh, them silly unicorns.
There were green alligators
And long-necked geese,
Some humpty back camels
And some chimpanzees,
Noah cried, "Close the door
'Cause the rain was pourin'
And we just can't wait
For no unicorn."
~ short interlude ~
The ark started movin'
And it drifted with the tide,
Them unicorns looked up from the rocks
And they cried.
And the waters came down
And sort of floated them away,
That's why..you never seen
A unicorn to this very day.
You'll see some green alligators
And long-necked geese,
Some humpty back camels
And some chimpanzees,
Some cats and rats, and elephants
But as sure as you're born,
You're never gonna see no unicorn.
and sweetly scented. Our misty arms
encircle the land. Come, my beloved
children, for the dream begins. Take
to the clouds. Shadow yourselves in
the streets. Feel every whisper of
pulsing heartbeats. Lonely souls, don't
hide. Join the starlight -- Tis all
right. Darlings, we are one. We are
kin. Know every drape of an overcoat
and the perfumed silk of precious
gloved fingers. Memorize them. The
kill can wait. There's an eternity
bathed in blood. For now, join hands
and dance my loves. Look...our Sister
Moon. She calls forth magic. We dream
in pallets of silvered-ebony. So seek
your desires for they'll vanish all too
soon.
much fun to hang out with, she loves to
get drunk, she knows how to listen, she
knows when to give advice when
appropriate, she is very compassionate,
she is a bad driver, she loves animals
(especially ones with big balls), she
likes to play battleship (and she even
lets me win sometimes) and she is
someone who I would stick in the
dictionary under the phrase 'true friend.'
one of my oldest friends. She is always
the rock of stability and voice of
reason. Everyone that knows her would
agree. Loveable, fun, positive, sweet,
honest and loyal to an uncalcuable
degree. A drunken Bibby= good times,
she shares my love of late night drive
by's in search of lost loves,
regrettable phone calls to crushes,
animals, diners at 3 am, a gothic past,
and has been known to accompany me on
the infamous "sloth hunts" of '95. A
key player in most of my "younger days"
stories. She is perhaps the most highly
moraled friend I have, and holds tight
to her beliefs. Her friendship is
invaluable.
