I am a recovering junk shop/garage sale maniac. I still go
to them constantly but have finally come to the realization
that YOU CANNOT KEEP IT ALL OR YOUR HOUSE FILLS UP AND
BECOMES UNLIVABLE and also you CAN'T TAKE IT WITH YOU. I
guess you could boil my tastes down to one word: the 1960's.
I am props master for New Orleans Opera, a profession that
combines two of my favorite passtimes: searching for and
buying old stuff, and making/painting weird things. I am a
deejay (yes I am also a dreaded RECORD COLLECTOR-although I
don't keep any records I don't actually LISTEN TO, so I'm
not sure if I'm a true "collector" or not). I host two dj
nights: 60s Mod Dance party(with fellow friendster Kristin)
at Circle Bar and Six Pack to go Honky Tonk Country night
(with Mister P) at
the Saint. I have two bands the Royal Pendletons, and the
band that used to be called the Darkest Hours. I love going
on tour and will play in my band and or DeeJay in your
Bar/club/basement anywhere anytime. just pay for the
gas/plane ticket. I enjoy playing guitar and also play air
guitar when the real thing is not on hand. I also play air
keyboards, drums and bass.

Who I Want to Meet:
deejays, artists, and musicians, smokers, non-smokers,
people with serious issues, people that like to spazz out,
people that are motivated and can inspire ME to be
motivated,
occasional guests, random strangers. people who live in
cincinnati, bloomington, montreal, memphis, or just
anywhere. Day Dreamers. people who
like going to Farm Auctions at 8 am on a fall morning,
people that like old junk. Freaks that live in small towns
in the midwest. geeks. People I DO NOT WANT TO MEET:
people who are snobby or classist. People who are snobby
about where they come from/live (e.g. the east and west
coast.) sorry to say this but there is a whole country in
between and it's every bit as interesting. I love New York,
L.A. and SF, but I love my Mid-West and South, too. if you
think of these areas as "fly-over" states or places "where
hicks live" then we don't have anything to say to one
another.

to boot he's one of the nicest and
geniune people I've known in N.O. for
years.
