I'm not yet cynical but no longer naive. I love what I do for a living, and I'm good at it. I laugh a big loud laugh you'd be embarrassed about except that you're laughing too. I like both substance and style. My parents adore me and my ex-girlfriends have forgiven me. I'm quick to my feet and good with my hands. I try not to take myself too seriously. I'm relentlessly curious and live for good conversation.

I'm a biologist turned educator turned designer, but a musician through all of that. The only love song I ever wrote was to my ethnomusicology professor, though thankfully she doesn't know about it. Now I play tangos in an all-accordion ensemble.

I have soft spots for rigorous swiss typography and fantastic polish poster art. I like to design exhibits for museums that have never existed, and if I'd moved less in the last 10 years, I'd surely have assembled my own wunderkammer by now.
