I'm a bit of a loner; quiet in crowds but I love to spend time with a few close friends at once. If you meet me for the first time, I'm usually a bit reserved. But that goes away. I was a transplant to the Northwest from the Midwest for about 8 years then moved to the East coast for work. I miss the NW greatly. I am in an almost 5 year relationship with my boyfriend/fiance but I hate to be asked when we're getting married. (We are, just not now, okay?)
I like to read and watch movies and cook when I have time.
I learned to knit from a little old lady and though I haven't quite progressed from scarves (I did a blanket once, but that's just a big scarf) I still enjoy it. I also just learned to crochet and I feel dangerous with needles now!
I don't get out enough, but I love to be in the woods or wilderness. I think the smell of fresh cut grass and the sound of cleats on gravel means summer, the way a gin and tonic smells like Christmas. Even though my birthday is in the Winter, I think Fall is the best time of year. How can you go wrong with Pumpkin Pie?

Anyone down to earth looking for casual friendships to pass the time. I'm not generally into the political discussion, but I do have my opinions. I'd be more into meeting people who are interested in sharing a bit of themselves and can stand being around a couple who love each other. (no sourpusses, please!)
