Reading trashy magazines, watching indie and classic movies (and non-indie, non-classic movies), pretending to be drunk at karaoke bars, singing, writing poetry, dancing at clubs, writing and reading lengthy emails, laughing, eating, keeping fit, talking to myself, and occasionally, to live people.

I guess I should acknowledge the existence of books. Catcher In the Rye, The Color Purple, various stuff by Philip Roth, Invisible Man, and anything irreverent and generally offensive.

Good damn music, The Smiths, U2, The Police, Billie Holliday, Nina Simone, Radiohead, Coldplay, Astrud Gilberto, Bebel Gilberto, Stevie Wonder, Jill Scott, Anita Baker, The Isley Brothers, Jamiroquai, Bjork, David Bowie, The Buena Vista Social Club, Thievery Corporation, The Beatles, Interpol, Franz Ferdinand, The Bravery, old school hip hop, swing, bossanova, all disco, funk, all 80s rock flashback music, all soul classics, old jazz by oldtime jazz singers, and all good house, trance, drum and bass-- electronica. My reggae knowledge is limited, but I love it too. I've recently discovered reggaeton. Some old Elvis. All old school crooners. All the artists who influenced these artists. And probably a good number of your favorites, too.

The Simpsons, The Powerpuff Girls, Conan O'Brian, Tavis Smiley, Whose Line Is It Anyway?, Girlfriends. And 20/20, because I'm a sucker for human interest stories and pop psychology. I don't get to watch much TV because I'm a student. Sniff, whimper.

I'm left-handed. My blood type is AB positive. I was named after the actress who played Ginger on Gilligan's Island (yes, really). At least three different people have said that I remind them of Catwoman. Well... two people said I remind them of Catwoman, and one said Eartha Kitt.
