back memories of Sonic kid's meal toys
and Julie Andrews. Your design prowess
is awe-inspiring (even though I still
have the sneaking suspicion that
Photoshop is evil). It's too bad I
didn't get to know you till the end of
my college career. I'll always owe it
to you and the other ladies of the
night (on the copy desk) for allowing
me to learn all the lyrics/dance moves
to Chicago before I even saw the movie.
being a graduate student, a TA and
working at the ol' DT, but she never
seems to be in a bad mood. Maybe
sleepy, but never cranky. And she's
always there to talk about stupid boys
or kids meal toys or wield her awesome
powers as a design goddess. Yay Rae!
met at the Texan, but I'm glad we did.
Rae wouldn't be a great TA, if I hadn't
met her at the ol' faithful DT. I don't
think the basement would be as fun
without her. I'm also glad we share a
love of daytime television.
or armpit depending on how I feel about
you at the time. Ha ha, just kidding.
You have always been there for me when
I needed to talk about randomness until
4am in EB or to just stop by in Austin
to chill and pass on cool arty ideas.
You always have the perfect weird thing
to add to a gift or an interesting toy
to play with in your car or living
room. I am so glad that I have you to
discuss weird shit that no one else
understands or to create a great
accessory for a room. You inspire me to
push myself until I can't go any more
and to do it with a smile on my face.
Thank you for sharing your tiaras, wigs
and fun feather boas with me. (Yes, she
has an array of funness in her closet...
hee hee) Another big thanks for helping
me feel normal!! You are truly a great
friend!
that's not because she spent the summer
in San Jose. It's because she's super cool.
the bad times and the times when we
wanted to run away from the basement
screaming. The Dynamic Design Duo will be
back, think of this an intermission. She has
taught me so much, the love of Mark Derwin,
the songs of Julie Andrews, but most of all,
Amaretto goes with anything. I will watch
Princess Diaries and think of you, your
lemon boobs and you asking Yen if he feels
vertical or horizontal (a photo for the front
page people, get you minds out of the
gutters). Ah, my better half, we will ride the
tea cups ... and everyone is invited.
