i want to meet ... hm... a white horse. whatever is on it is promised to be the prince, so i figured it's easier to start with the horse. i'd like to meet mozart and tell him to write more notes. i'd like to meet jean genet and borrow his eloquence. i'd like to meet turing, and pretend to bore him with irrelevant matters - that only two of us would understand. i'd like to meet someone who speaks russian but wouldn't tell me until late. i'd like to meet someone who can offer me a seat, and the seat is warm. someone who believes in serendipity and travels to many far away places. i'd like to meet someone who likes reading out loud in bed and sleeping outside, when it's chilly. i want to meet someone who can smile at me dancing tango and feel warm. i'd like to meet myself when i was much younger and spent hours riding the bus instead of going to school to fool my parents. i'd like to meet someone who believes that an atom of justice is worth a man's life, and who would convince me. i'd like to meet the maker of my mobile phone, and spank him, publicly. i'd like to meet the Ultimate Maker, but that can certainly wait.

i'm a dork, and my wit has every bit of jewishness and self-deprecating bitterness that my people inherited through ages. in fact, we didn't inherit nothin' from noone - hello, we slaved by the hot stove, or hot egyptian grill, or pyramids, depending on who you ask! i like dancing but always have ten excuses why i cant tonight. i love US open and tiramisu, and enjoy'em both annually in august. i sort of like my family but since i don't see them very often, i easily get to the point of missing them terribly. alas, these neurotic people are well worth the wait. and, in all honesty, so am i.
