About Me:
What, am I a beer? Yes and No. I am a city in New York
State, the county seat of Oneida County. In my capacity as
a city I was "settled" by Matson and Van Zandt in October,
1836 and was originally known as Greene Township. Then
later on I changed my name to Utica in honor of the ancient
African city of that name (presently inside the borders of
the sovereign state of Tunisia). I am an American city in
central New York. As of the census of 2000, there are 60,651 people, 25,100 households, and 14,231 families residing in the city. The
population density is 1,432.3/km (3,710.0/mi There are
29,186 housing units.

chicken riggies, and half-moons in
interests. and o'scugnizzos. duh!
anyways...one day, i'm gonna make you
proud, utica! you just wait!
Somehow, someway, I miss you. It has
been a while, as I have not been
living near you. I miss your busy
streets and your always-employing
APAC. Now that I finally turned 21, I
need to go on a brewery tour. I
spread the Saranac love as much as
possible but, alas, Utica Club is not
available here. My dearest Utica, one
day, I shall return to your streets.
One day...
What's with the Liberty Bell rockin' out on Geneesse
Street? What kind of colonial-era charlatan do you
think you are?
At least your beer and women are cold.

i ran up and down your streets? no?
me either, really.
anyway. I am back. and I will
commence to run up and down your
streets again. only this time, i will
be screaming in french gibberish
instead of english.
that time my van blew the engine on your
outskirts and I drove real slow all
around town rod a knockin' untill I
found a good mechanic. Then we went
downtown and got drunk and smoked up all
our dope while waiting for the bus to
Toronto. Good times old buddy, I hope
we meet again, minus the blown engine.
city got whooped up into a frenzy
because Foreigner was going to play a
show at the Aud? I do. Elvis died
trying to do the same thing.
saranac beer and half-moon cookies!!!
i could spend hours, even days in the
last unicorn and the electric company,
eating at kittie's or floating the erie
canal! utica, not to brown-nose or
anything but you are my home sweet
home. i have only one small
complaint: when is VBLP's coming
back? (for non-uticans, that is virgo
bat and leo phrog's, the hippest non-
alcoholic cafe/hangout/venue known to
man.) i miss it, a lot.
