Testimonials and Comments for Brian
sure. however long, its been way too long
since i saw him. strange how people walk
into your life and capture a part of your
heart. this guy did.
more than Brian. Consequently, I feel
constant pangs of guilt for being such
a bad friend. Brian- regardless of how
bad I might be, I'm always thinking
about you. Remembering your witty
jokes and concrete grip on all that is
trendy in the world. Telling people
funny stories about you--like the one
where your foot got stuck in the tube
in London....ah yes...I miss Brian...
outstanding, he makes things easy, he teaches
me bad words and funny expressions that
always crack me up. I like his voice even if I
make fun of it. He inspires me. Damn, I miss
him...
like all great human beings, he lives
far away and makes a super penpal.
Brian has an amazing capacity for
caring, and he exercises this
enthusiastically. We need a few more
Brians in this world with maybe one or
two them in Michigan.
chocolate chip. if he was a bowl of
soup, he'd be chicken noodle. if he
was an animal, he'd be a pony. if he
was a color, he'd be red. if he was a
scoop of ice cream, he'd be vanilla
(no pun intended... no, serioiusly.
NO, SERIOUSLY!). brian's classic
charm has a tendency to make him
everybody's favorite - and not without
good reason. his refreshingly
persistent honesty, his quietly
discerning taste, his dangerously
cutting wit - not to mention his
dashingly dashing good looks -
make it difficult for anyone who's not
totally lame to not want to be his best
friend. no, seriously.
the heart of gold the {blank} is
usually something bad (hooker, killer,
thief) Well, Brian's got the heart of
gold, but without the bad part. I've
been lucky enough to know him through
ten years, a dozen states, several
moves, too many cars, not enough
boyfriends, and at the end of it all, I
couldn't be more grateful that we both
ended up in South Dakota so that our
paths could cross. What'd I do without
him?!
tiny pink house with a gnome named
Jerome. Jerome is a lazy gnome.
I wish Brian liked me more than he
does. I think that I like Brian a
little too much. He is a heart with
legs (Haley told me to write that. She
loves Brian a little too much too.)
He cooked me the best fondue that I
have ever had. He drives a manly truck.
He smells of meadows and rainbows. And
I am proud to call him my friend.
