I hate the fact that I have to limit my testimonial of Toni-babe to only 1000 characters, which has now been reduced to 880 at this point. Anyway, Toni is one of my favorite (if not my most beloved) best friends ever. Who would have ever thought that I could find a friend who is most like me?!?! (Shows what a great self-esteem I have, but also shows how highly I think of Antonia) -- she is the most outgoing, friendly, considerate, funny, butt-kicking, brilliant, studious, caring, thoughtful, meaningful, beauteous (is that a real word?!?! Hahha!! Remember senior trip!??), reliable, trustworthy, inspiring, excellent conversational, and encouraging sister-in-Christ and best friend who has enriched my life with so much love and happiness and just meaningful friendship that I couldn't have asked for a better friend. I think anyone who is lucky enough to have Toni as a friend is blessed indeed. I know I am.
I miss Antonia. I miss our TKD captain/president/mistress/queen. Yeah, she kicks a$$. Both cuz she's incredibly cool and nice, but also because she can physically kick your a$$. But she's nice enough not to. :-) Antonia once saved me before a tournament. I had pulled a muscle and need to spar in 2 minutes. Antonia had bandages and was kind enough to share and help calm me down. I was on her team. She kicked a$$ as always, but I think I made our team lose, She was still so nice to me even after the tournament. That's the type of person she is.
'tonia is the best med school lackey
we've ever had. well, the only one, but
still. she constantly joins us in our self-
indulgent bitchin', knows all the fun
backroads to drive in princeton, and puts
up with my sorry-ass self (and even
pretends to laugh at my lame
jokes)...how's that for strong work?
either she's one of the best people i
know, or just sucking up really hard in
the hopes that i won't make her do all
the scut-work when we're on the floors
together (good luck with that one). i'm
just glad that we'll be in the same
hospital next year, and even more so
that she'll still be young enough to take
care of me when i'm sick and old.
Okay, I'm the other half that's not
doing a good job writing back from
half way across the world! I've been
really busy with my new job, but that
should not be an excuse for not
uploading a picture, eh? (wait
another month or so, and I will be
website-genic.)
I must say I agree with whatever good
things that other people say about
Toni, but the truth is, I love her
because she's her. That's why she's
the *better half*.
Am thinking of you, but sorry I
dropped from the surface of earth, YET
AGAIN!
All I know is that she can kick my ass! but I am taller than her.
oh yea...she is also chinese...umm actually maybe korean...wait...no she might be taiwanese...what am I saying they are all the SAME THING! jk
You need to meet the international
phenomenon that is Antonia yourself,
since none of these testimonials can do
her justice. (But I'm going to try
anyway!) She is one of the few friends
whom I've met who ALWAYS makes time for
you, even though she herself is crazy
busy saving the world. She's going to
be the next Surgeon General, no noubt.
=) Her brilliance is obvious, her
friendship priceless, her
coolness+dorkiness off the charts. And
oh yeah, her dancing abilities... -
Britney ain't got nothing on her. The
world would be a better place if just
everyone could meet Antonia. I know
mine is! =)
It's a bird... it's a plane... it's a
TAE KWON DO-WIELDING, BIOCHEMICAL
PATHWAYS-SPITTING UEBERWOMAN! Is there
anything this girl CAN'T do?? (well,
other than get a good night's sleep).
The phrase "Yale (wo)Man" is no longer
just an anachronistic relic of
sociology texts; it is alive and
kicking in this poly-talented
doctor-to-be. Also, she was part of the
Chen Dynasty in Silliman, and her laugh
can be picked up by senstive
seismographic equipment at distances of
up to 42,000 kilometers. I don't know
anyone's life whom she hasn't changed
for the better. Sadly, there aren't
enough effusive words in the English
language to do this testimonial
justice... suffice it to say you have
stumbled across a truly great person
and friend(ster) here.
Antonia is the SWEETEST!!!! ever!!
This girl is so nice! She always has
a smile on her face and is always in a
good mood. She's also super
charismatic and a natural leader. In
a group setting, she's always the one
to make sure everyone's doing well and
enjoying themselves. Be careful
though, she can kick some serious ass
too! (think martial arts) :-)
my older sis is the sweetest, most
caring person alive ... to other
people :) . no, despite our little
sisterly squabbles, i still love her
to death. she's social, fun, and
brilliant. you can't go wrong.
