I mean informative). I've recently decided to abandon Lost (too exhausting to watch, I'd rather take up knitting). I'm a whore for 24. The Weather Channel (makes for good background noise when it's too quiet to study). And my confession: MTV reality trash.

“ME IN MY OWN WORDS”


I think to myself, “How do I write a bio without making my private life public?” This website wasn’t meant to do that anyway, it’s here as a catch-all for everything that goes through this thing I call my brain.
OK. So this ain't going to be a bio after all, if we confine ourselves to its strictest definition; but if I don’t start writing anything about me, then this piece won’t even reach the SAVE AS phase.
I’m Lemuel Tampus Tudio, born on January 1, 1989 and actually a college senior student of Xavier University-Ateneo de Cagayan. I find myself working with sick people in the hospital and helping them the best that I can. I majored in NURSING so more or less I’m on the right track. Our class prophecy saw me as a Registered Nurse; hopefully someday I can find a way to make that dream come true. In the near future, however, I hope to graduate from the college of nursing, pass the board exams and work as a nurse abroad, practically because of financial issues.
Ironically however, I have developed a disliking of the hospital events. If you really think about it, hospitalization mostly means “bad news”. Sometimes having everything develop before your eyes can get to you and if I had the choice would take more days off away from this crazy world.
I guess it just shows you that the world is real, that life isn’t and never has been perfect, and though dreamers like me can bask in surreal pictures of what life should be, that place doesn’t exist or ever will in this lifetime.
There are other things that preoccupy me, my music, my books, my computer and everything that attaches itself to that particular technology.
I’m a techie, I can’t work without my computer, can’t leave the house without checking my e-mail, and continue to work hard each day saving up for some new device, wish I could afford them all, can’t wait for the day that I will. Technology has always been my hidden “thing”. I’ve always found it easy to learn new gadgets on my own...in fact all this technical knowledge is self taught, (of course with the help of some books).
I love music. I’m a musician, though I have never had the time to master an instrument, I am proud to have been gifted with a tenor voice, though quite disappointed that puberty took an octave off my scale. Music is such a wonderful thing; it’s indescribable. Even better is it if you can sing along, maybe someday I can cut a few tracks of my own for personal consumption (hehehe). My preferences for music depend on my mood; they range from classical to pop to rock, though I don’t find a liking for Blues Music and Country.
Recently I realized that I was a control freak; that I always wanted to have a sense of balance. Not really immediate balance, but at least an impression that things are going normally. I don’t like sudden disruptions to the schedule…so even if I’m off to a vacation, I really need to make sure that everything is fine before I leave. Unexpected twists can really knock me off normalcy.
That’s why I try to maintain a good relationship with the Lord. It is through Him that I find that balance in my life. Growing up in the mission field got me started well, but did work some disadvantages…thinking that I knew Him well enough sometimes gave me no reason to know Him more. I’ve learned my lesson over and over again, I understand today that time spent with Him each day not only makes me whole, it keeps me sane.
Lastly I consider myself a philosopher or perhaps a thinker. I sometimes talk to myself, ask myself questions, and think about answers. I once asked myself what drives me, and realized that it was doing the things that I loved, the things that give me fulfillment and satisfaction, the things that make me happy. My happiness is derived from the REAL things in life, a loving family, good friends, and a great God.
With all this to drive me, life is worth living.

Lee's "HOW TO STOP BREAK UPS" tips!

Rocky relationships have become a trend. Commitment phobia is rampant and relationships end daily over trivial matters. I personally believe that falling in love is a wonderful feeling, maintaining it takes time and breaking up takes it all away in an instant. There are many reasons for breaking up and there are things we can do to get over a break up.
But can all this be avoided?
Is breaking up the only way to resolve problems in a relationship?
It is time to think positively and plan on how to hold on to that one person who makes you feel on top of the world.

How To Stop Break Ups:
1) Communication: The more you clarify your thoughts, air your beliefs, express your inner voice, the better it is for both the partners. Never hesitate to say what is bothering you. Bottling emotions is the worst thing that one can do and in the end, suffering guaranteed.

2) Own Up And Apologize: If you have said something cruel to hurt your partners feelings, don’t defend that action, admit it and apologize with honesty.

3) Avoid Conflicts: The best way to avoid conflicts is to be patient. Everyone has good days and bad. By being calm you can understand the partner’s problems and help him resolve it.

4) Being Supportive: Always standing by your partner in good times and bad adds to resolving conflicts. He or she knows that they can count on you for everything in life. If there is a support system between two people, there are less chances of a break up.

5) Avoid Blaming One Another: In a typical fight between partners, one takes on a defensive side and the other aggressive. There is plenty of name calling, blaming and the issue escalates at a different level and the net result is ending the relationship.

6) Level Of Maturity: Some couples breakup and makeup over petty issues. This shows how mature or immature they are in their way of thinking and reasoning.

The level of commitment, love, respect and the depth of understanding between the partners ascertains how long the relationship will last.
