This is all over the place. During the summer I love light reads for the beach. Some all-time favs are The Alchemist, The Holy Man, Einstein's Dreams, Shel Silverstein's The Missing Piece, The Eyes of the Dragon...Recently finished Digital Fortress, by Dan Brown author of The DaVinci Code...which was a great book. Now reading a myriad of books: Fix it and Flip it - for real estate, Pour Your Heart into It (the starbucks story), The Great Good Place and Wear More Cashmere. Quite a collection.

Don't really have a favorite...but love the movies. Drama, romance, foreign, action, comedy, even some suspense but NOT horror.

Harry Conick, Jr, Josh Kelley, Ben Lee, John Mayer, John Legend, Stevie Wonder, Gavin DeGraw, Toby Lightman, Joss Stone, Norah Jones, Ben Harper, The Killers, Pat McGuire, Josh Rouse...those are some of my favorites, but my collection contains everything alternative, classical, country, hip hop, r&;b, rap, rock, motown, etc...I love most music, depends on the mood and what I'm doing.

I must say I am a tv junkie. I'm not a reality television fan, but tv is such an escape, I love to just lay on the couch and watch my shows. This season's favorites: Prison Break, Bones, Grey's, and Men in Trees. Must say I was a huge Buffy/Angel/Dark Angel and Alias fan in the past.

I've been in Las Vegas now for about 18 months...after spending 14 years in New York City. I enjoy the outdoors and love that the sun shines every day...Red Rock is so close for great hiking, the clear sky, the mountainscapes, the dark nights.

After moving to Vegas and taking a good year off for travel and spending time with my family...I decided to pursue a new career and have been working on my business plan and financials to open a coffeehouse here in the neighborhood. In the meantime I took a job at Station Casinos...so I have a stress free job, a steady paycheck and an awesome boss that lets me leave when I need to go to a meeting for the business or take my mom to the doctors...it's perfect for now.

Anyone interesting in the Las Vegas area. Someone who likes being active, who enjoys going to the movies, shooting pool, or having good conversation. Someone who can pass time in a museum, bookstore, park or ballgame. Any old friends from the past.
