About Me:
Trying to take over the world...nah, I don't want that kind of responsibility. I am one of those lucky few that live in DC, but don't work in politics. Don't get me wrong, I try to keep up with the latest from the big white buildings down the street from me, but my reason for living in DC is long and involved. It's a great story that I will be happy to relate.
These days I work with high school (public and private) students in Maryland, DC, Virginia, and West Virginia. I get to take them out of their classrooms and teach them science in national parks. Nothing like watching these big, tough, city kids scream their heads off when they have to touch a bug or get their feet wet in a stream.
Anyway, I spend my days in the woods, hills, and fields outside of town, and my nights here in the city. So yes, I am a little crunchy; I am as comfortable sleeping under the stars as I am under the roof of my "sunny" English basement. Add that to being a proud environmentalist, a vegetarian, an atheist, a wannabe guitarist and a registered independent and you got yourself a M@!

Who I Want to Meet:
Partner in crime; the nerdier the better. If you are at all interested in birdwatching, let me know. DC has some pretty good spots to see some decent birds. Also, anyone wanting to get a game of soccer, baseball, any other sport, or you need a jogging partner let me know.
