About Me:
Dirt. Yes, D-I-R-T, dirt. I dig in it, I measure it, I describe it, I wash it (well, special dirt at least), I date it (as in how old, not dinner and drinks) and I look at it under microscopes.
It does have the advantage of being African dirt so get to bounce around in a LandCruiser to go look for it. When I'm not studying the dirt, I'm studying the bones of critters dug up in dirt. Amazingly though I happen to be a pretty clean person.
... to be continued with volume II: BEER
OK, so technically I'm a graduate student, but working at the Smithsonian right now. I have a habit of travelling anywhere I can and never having the same address for more than a year at a time. Depending on how you look at it, it's either a good thing or a bad thing (I'm still debating it myself)

wanted! He is also one of the best
roommates I've ever had. he's cute,
smart and funny and if you wanna know
about rocks he's the man! I would have
hooked up with him but he thought I was
too old, oh and he was busy showing
his "rocks" to my friends!
