hipster AND a scenester, I was once
star of my own teen television show and
I lie all the gd time. And I jam out to my
own music a bunch. I think what I do is
better than what other people do so why
listen to them when I can listen to
myself? My favorite sound in the world?
My own voice. Kathryn feels the same
way about me, which is why she likes
me so much and sends me so
many "secret admirer" letters. [i know
it's you, but... don't stop]
ms. kathryn yu. her beauty and spirit are
contagious. whenever you are with
kathryn you know a fun time is to be had
that must be shared and laughed about
for the rest of your life. when i think
about the people that have made life
worth living she is at the top of my list.
any guy would be absolutely insane to
pass on something this good!

going to a rock show, and I kept saying,
"Oh my god, that rock show that we are
going to is going to be so great!" and
she would say "YES!" and we would be so
excited. Then the day of the rock show
came and I realized I had not purchased
a ticket. Also, the show was sold out.
WHAT A PICKLE. So I hovered by the box
office for a million minutes until
Kathryn arrived, reprimanded me, and
then stood by my side questioning
everyone who walked by. DO YOU HAVE A
TICKET? TICKETS ANYONE TICKETS? TICKET?
WE DESERVE THEM MORE THAN YOU! I kept
saying, "You don't have to do this! You
can go in! It is cold!" because it was.
I also said some things about cupcakes.
Kathryn REFUSED to abandon me! She STUCK
BY ME. And as it happened, no one had a
ticket, but someone took pity on me so I
got in anyway. And we went in and it was
one of the best shows I have ever seen,
like, ever. Also, at the time this all
went down, I believe Kathryn and I had
known each other for approximately three
weeks. That is magic, friends. Magic.
Her colorful clothes radiate her inner
vibrancy.
When we worked together doing
publicity for KZSU, we were an awesome
team. Without her, I would have been
pretty useless. And she took my
teasing with good humor, be it in
staff meetings, in public places, over
the air, or in Friendster
testimonials.
Also, she has awesome taste in music
and had an awesome radio show.
I miss you, Kathryn.
in fact, that the only way she could possibly be
cooler is if she lived in New York. *cough,
cough*
impress upon the reader her greatness!
For there is much of it, as wide as the
dunes of the Sahara, and as deep as the
Sea of Cortez. Or something. In any
case, she rules the indie music scene
and California in general!
