one more story. One more story before
12:00, just to keep us warm. In five
minutes, it will be the 21st of April. One
hundred years ago on the 21st of April,
out in the waters around Spivey Point, a
small clipper ship drew toward land.
Suddenly, out of the night, the fog rolled
in. For a moment, they could see
nothing, not a foot in front of them. Then,
they saw a light. It was JASON! Boy oh
boy do I think Jason rocks! Not only
does his obsession with horror films
match mine, he is a Pixies fan to boot.
One day I hope to know more than those
two facts about Jason, but it is good
enough to know that I smell the sweet
smell of friendship. All you mothers
would be wise to check out anything he
is involved in if you are ever out the LA
way. He is part of the super awesome
sketch group TROOP! who rocks mine
and MEAT's world. If this man needed a
ride to the airport (anywhere but LA or
NYC...come one, those drives suck) he
co
bands, made four movies, and shared two
apartments. You'd think a guy would
change over a dozen years, but Jay remains
hilarious, creative, gregarious, and
astoudningly stupid. A charter member of
my funky bunch, and I wouldn't it any other
way.
