Anybody but Gunn alums, and while we are at it, I hate

mom, not the other way around.
Ugly Kid Joe
not the school itself. i wanted to echo
kelli and wes, and put in my two cents.
for those of you who voiced the opinion
that gunn should not be a friendster of
paly, i would just like to congratulate
you on carrying on the separatist ways
that have been going on at paly for all
these years. silly me, i thought the
point of this thing was to find people
that you haven't seen and such, but
apparently because people lived in a
different part of town, after
elementary school (and sometimes junior
high) they must have become someone not
worthy of your paly student time. it's
nice to know that when someone extends
an olive branch to you, all you extend
is your middle finger.
and Hoops!!
and Grandma...will its tapes play in my
VCR?
awesome teacher, and his classes
kicked ass. He taught me everything
i know by yelling at me when i asked
questions, which i did frequently.
That lesson has served me well
throughout my art career. His
classes were fun because he let us
do what we wanted, and
comprehensive, Ask me anything
about midevil architecture. In
summation Mr. Belton was a great
teacher.
about all this Gunn bashing as well.
Many of you might recall that I
finished up my senior year at Gunn...I
also finished up my high school
baseball career on Arastradero Rd. as
well. At Gunn I really stuck it to
Paly...I recall going 4 for 5 against
Paly's feared pitching 1-2 punch of
Carter/Littlefield...for those that
don't know this duo rivaled Wood/Prior
and Johnson/Schilling as one of the all
time greats. But I broke them...I
broke them haaaaaaard baby!! whooohoo!!
4 for 5 (2 doubles and a stand up
triple) oh yeah, and I got a little
help from Paly's catcher Peter con
Arroz...he was tipping me off to the
pitches...thanks pete! he was a double
agent for Gunn...that was one of the
biggest sports conspiracies in Palo
Alto city history.
nigh synonymous. My grandmother went
to Paly for crying out loud (and I have
the yearbook to prove it), and my
brothers, plus a score of cousins.
My parents are Gunn alumni however,
which is why I think I heard the
theater building whispering, "kill your
parents," to me whenever I was out on
the quad... either that, or it was just
Ben Preston who was typically standing
beside me at the time.
