me: when i was in college i received hate mail that was typed on a typewriter (! the effort !) and decried me as a pseudo-intellectual as well as informing me that they had such "contempt" for me that they could not suffer to sign their screed. so, in the spirit of full disclosure, i illicit strong reactions from certain people.
more: i change my hair color and length like a deciduous plant, seasonally shedding anew. politically and economically, i'm a classic liberal, which means i occupy a small rung above satan's spawn in the minds of the majority of residents in this great leftist empire. i'm a painfully stubborn contrarian, exceedingly curious, and, like a well-cultured anglophone, prone to abuse the adjective. i like ellipses. i'll tell you i'm chinese and hawaiian on our first acquaintance. and due to insufficient mirroring in my youth, i will repeat myself. again and again. additionally, i demonstrate a formidable resistance to custom, and, therefore,embarrassingly, the logic of cause and effect escapes me.

Lani is cute, beautiful, self-effacing which means she begs for compliments, and I am in love with her. She is brilliant. We deserve to be together! Hahaha.
Lani is one of a few people who would engage me in an oxymoronic conversation soberly defining dissatisfaction as walking the earth with Polya, Heidegger, and Pareto as they insist we unconsciously resist heuristics, beware of those who choose to be aware of states of thrownness, and to ever-so-existentially make no judgements upon those who deny social contracts while applying a pareto non-optimalized utilitarianism.
We wouldn't have a headache afterwards, but we would go register Republican.
She is the only one of my west coast peeps who came to see me give my graduate recital in Hartford...and...she doesn't mind if you pee in front of her while she fixes her make-up.
