My sweet high school band-mate...I first
met you when Cad had us group
together to do CMEA solo&ensemble. I
don't know how you were able to get me
and Steve Jankech to play in sync...but
it worked!
You were a terrific section leader and
served a good example when it was my
turn. Thanks for all the encouragement
and for all the love and affection :-)
You, along with Robert Parenti, Steve
Wright, Richard Lee.....you guys were
the upperclassmen who immediately
made me feel welcome in the sea of
talented and intimidating (!) musicians.
Helped me to be a better sax player by
my senior year.
I remember you wrote me a long letter
way back and I lost it. I still feel bad
about that. Apologies once again.
Well, I miss you - I miss ambushing you
with my hugs and tickles :-) I hope all is
well....
get instruction in badminton because
he used to smash on me so much. I
don't see him much, but whenever there
is a tournament involving Brentwood
and Classic Bowlers, we'll run into
each other. Catch you around the
lanes, and don't forget to always
treat Maria right! Aren't you married
yet. Big Jon Out!
