About Me:
I currently work at a sexual and domestic violence prevention nonprofit, the LA Commission on Assaults Against Women. I coordinate presentations in schools and for community groups, among other things. I previously taught 5th grade in Boyle Heights. It was an incredibly tough year, but I wouldn't give it up for the world. Last spring, I finished a Masters program in Education completing my 10th straight year of school post high school. I graduated from law school in 2003 and am pretty scared for our world if lawyers are the ones running it. I started playing music gigs in March 2004, and I've been having rockstar fantasies ever since. In May of 2005, I got elected to my first political office (aside from things in college), as a Board Member of the Hollywood United Neighborhood Council. Mario is the nuttiest craaaaaziest man
I've ever known and loved. Not loved in
that "oh yeah, she wants me" kind of
way, but in that love/hate best friendship
kind of way. Gary really is one of a kind,
one of the wonders of the world - like the
great pyramid of giza, the hanging
gardens of babylon, the statue of zeus
at olympis, he IS the coffee shop
singing harvard law grad. But that is
what makes him my hero.
