She'll leave you laughing and thinking,
and is always a bit intriguing. I had my
longest laughing spell to date with
Marissa, and honestly, I have no idea
what was so funny, but apparently
something was. And, if you ask nicely,
she might even let you watch her
Robin Hood tapes with her!!!!
in Journalism 101 (or whatever the fuck it was
called) together, where we met. Things
started out smooth, but hit a bump when I
ditched the class. Next thing you know, we're
having long phone conversations and trying to
one-up each other with witty e-mails. Sadly,
this is an event that many years of drinking
has now rendered my brain as being
disqualified for, but I'm still glad that I know
this funny chick-a-dee!
Although we hadn't heard each other's
voices in almost a whole freakin' year,
Marissa called me on my birthday the
other day. I like to picture her
bouncing around outerspace sometimes.
Her laugh is supremely contagious. I
miss living with you. Sometimes she
has an inadvertent British accent. No
joke. Let's play that card game and
talk about little kids right now. Okay,
Marissa, I'll be over your house in
twenty minutes.
person can't really be SO unique --
there aren't varying degrees of
uniqueness, duh -- but if it WERE
possible (invoking another dimension?),
Marissa would win the title easy. And
not just for being a great penpal.
