About Me:
I moved to Israel in 1998, completed my degree in Literature at Tel Aviv University, and have just started a PhD at UC Berkeley(English/American studies/Social and Cultural Anthropology). I recently returned from a whirlwind of international work and travel... I was in Germany on a research fellowship for part of last year (where I was teaching a course on American Romanticism), and have recently traveled to Vietnam, Thailand (twice), Panama, Columbia, and Singapore. This summer I will be traveling to Bosnia, Africa and Israel. When I am not trying to tour the globe, I am busy with research and various academic interests. My research focuses on the 17th century in America (specifically, racial representations in Puritan texts of encounter). Sound boring? I love it!

Who I Want to Meet:
I have just relocated to the Bay area and am looking to meet intelligent, down to earth people. I am always looking for travel companions as well.
