Although she's a close to 2 months
younger than I am there were times
when it seemed like she was just one
step ahead of me... It's been a long time
since we were "dance partners" in HB...
from going to the AA Expo in Pomona
to visiting the Whiteriver res. in AZ this
girl has got to be one of the most
amazingly cheerful persons I've ever
met... Hey Irene you remember "What
are you doing here?! I thought you were
going to visit a friend!" I got you that
time! hehehe... I hope things will always
go well for you... Not that they wouldn't
for such a lovely young lady with such a
positive outlook on life... Seriously
though, I love this girl like a sister... And
if anyone messes with her you'll have
me to answer to... as well as His wrath,
which of course makes mine seem like
nothing... Thanks for everything Irene
you're one cool cat! And know that if
you ever need me for anything just give
me a call, I'll be there!
or as I would like to call her, Ham.
You might be thinkin, "Ham? What an
odd nickname". It's actually not very
odd if you think about it though
because it does capture the many
different sides of Irene. Some of you
guys might not know, but Irene
definitely has the type of personality
that is made to be on stage. She
loves being on-stage. :o) She is so
incredibly talented...God definitely
blessed her with many gifts. Not only
can this girl sing, but her knowledge
of music theory is incredible. So
many times i've sat back at church and
have just been blown away by what this
girl can do. Not only is she
musically talented, but she has this
knack for picking up languages. She
even taught herself how to speak
Cantonese through Canto soaps...isn't
that gangster?! Irene is crazy
talented but she's more than just the
talents and gifts. On the outside,
she might seem a bit intimidating and
extremely independent, but deep down,
she's a sweetie that is always willing
to help a friend out. She has gone
out of her way so many times to help
those around her; this sacrificial
giving is definitely hard to come by
nowadays. As one of her best friends,
I've been able to see her softer and
more vulnerable side. I love hanging
out with her cause we have this
awesome fob connection. She helps me
stay true to my roots. :o) I'm so
blessed by her and our friendship. I
love her, man!! Irene...she's so hot
right now!! :o)
though she's basically my age, I
totally see her as my big sister -
someone I can confide in and count on
to look after me when I need it. That
and she's like the one person that will
actually make the effort and speak to
me in Cantonese. Major props to her for
learning off of Canto soaps! No-
nonsense, will-give-it-to-you-straight
kind of girl. She's the only one that
can read my face and communicate with
me without words. I had so much fun
being in choir and going on trips
together with her. She was my saving
grace. Luv ya!
living w/ you...WOW!!! It has been rad
although you can be anti-social at
times but that's you. Every year has
been unique and I kno God made us
roomies for a reason. I will never
forget that time I broke your purple
lamp in the dorms. OH! And that time
I locked you out of the room by
accident while you were still in the
shower and I was off to class! As I
walked back from class, everyone
looked at me and said, "ohh...you're
in for it!" Man...the dorms...that
was awesome!
Yeah, she's my big sis, not literally
cuz ain't no one can steal Winnie's
spot, but like Winnie, and like an
older sister, she bosses me around,
punks me a lot, gives me commands and
orders like a queen to the peasant,
yeah.. what a hard knocked life.. YEAH
RIGHT! even though she kindly asks me
to do things for her, in return i'm
more than happy to do these tasks, cuz
she just supafly like that. yeah, if
you ever need someone to help cheer
you up or shine upon you a shiny
disposition, Irene Da Jie is the one
and only. she's my american idol!
she's taken care of me throughout the
years and though (wow, you're ONLY 2
years older than me?!?!?!?!!) she's
not too much older than me, i feel
very well taken care when i'm around
her, like, she always protectin' me...
yeah, she's one cool sistah and its a
privelege of mine to be a li'l bro of
hers. God Bless!!!

irene is by far one of the most unique
gals i've ever met. she's fun, a great
sister, a good driver and entertainer!
just watch her hamminess at heavenbound
concerts! but yes, irene is truly a
queen of caring and understanding and
being an accountable sister - so HOT
MEN...hear me out - ask her out while
you still can before it's toooooo late!
