another... I undstand many of your
frustrations. You WERE Big Star but
never got the props you deserved at
all. Alex wrote great songs, but the
true sound came from YOUR soul (the
Rock City CD shows me that much and
more). You were virtually unknown
while alive, but at least you're
honored posthumously. When I was with
the Byrds I had the praise heaped upon
me with golden shovels. Now I'm a
virtually ignored footnote in the
annals of rock. Enjoy what notoriety
you have. In the end we're all dust
anyway.
