I'm an unabashed geek, yet not without my social skills.
I'm honest and blunt if I think you can handle it (but not
in a self-important pretentious way). Hey, if you're
looking for a guy to mess with your head or or treat you
like shit, look elsewhere.

I like to make people laugh. I get along with women and
girls very easily (just check out the AMAZING women in my
friends list) and once I get to know someone a little,
there are very few things I can't and won't talk about.

I'm a writer. Nothing I get paid for (not for awhile and
not yet), but soon. Even if I have to write erotic fiction
just to stretch my writing muscles. heh.

Don't let my age fool you. I have a solid job that I love,
I have ambitions beyond the things I'm doing now, I live on
my own, I'm not married, not divorced, not dating someone
else, and I don't have any kids. I've been busy with other
things (including a 3 year relationship that went nowhere a
few years back). I don't look my age and I only act my age
when necessary. I'm often mistaken for being much
younger. My youthful looks are a heavy burden to bear.
*cough*

Oh, and I have a few questions: Is everyone on
Friendster "18"? And what's with this "Open Marriage"
stuff? I understand what an open marriage is, but don't
tell me there are actually a lot of "18" year old girls who
are currently in open marriages. I don't buy it. Is it
some sort of code? Like a secret club? WHAT DOES IT ALL
MEAN!?!?! *ahem* (and how can i sign up? does the
initiation involve spanking? just wondering.)

Oh yeah... I write too much.

I want to meet people who don't take themselves too
seriously. People who are not afraid to be themselves, no
matter how embarrassing for themselves or for me, are my
people. People who are too caught up in their style, their
attitude, their "scene", and especially themselves, do not
interest me. I don't care if you're a model. If you are,
great. I'll take your picture. If you're not a model,
I'll probably take your picture as well.

I'm interested in making friends (especially female) who
live in the Daytona to Orlando area who just want to hang
out and do something other than sit in front of their
computers all day wondering why they're pretty and yet oh
so lonely and bored. I need to have women friends in my
life who I can meet on equal terms, be adult, have fun, and
just be real. I have that right now, but most of them are
far away (and no, they're not just internet girls). I hope
to do some traveling soon. I can get along with anyone, no
matter how sexy, ugly, reticent, shy, gay, or pierced you
think you are. Although I care nothing for the ignorant,
close-minded, or prejudiced and judgemental. Where are the
REAL GIRLS?

Despite my love of pop culture, I follow hardly any
personal trends or fashions. I am beholden to no one
single point of view, yet I am still opinionated. And I
refuse to be defined by one band or style of music.

In the wild world of women, there is no such thing as too
weird, but there is such a thing as too psycho. Girls that
are all style and no substance are pretty to look at but
that's about it. I'm mostly interested in women who are
independent and self-sufficient, smart and creative. I'm
not interested in girls who NEED to have a boyfriend to
live. I love making FRIENDS. What happens after that is
up to us, but right now I'm not interested in finding
anyone for something serious. However, if it just happens
someday, I won't fight it. I want it. I'm just not going
to kill myself hunting for it when I'm having the time of
my life being happily single for now. (Although I AM
getting older and my clock is ticking.) ;) heh.
