About Me:
Red Sox fan. I won a poetry contest once. I had a mohawk once (see the pics). I co-wrote a chapter about the Simpsons for a book used in college courses about academia and curriculum... once. True. All true. People say I'm a "connector," which supposedly makes sense to people who read books by Malcolm Gladwell, which I haven't... but would.
-
Who I Want to Meet:
People who like to dance and maybe look sexy when they're doing it, Red Sox fans, folks who love a good cookout and look sexy when they're having one, supporters of civil rights and people who look sexy when they're doing so, people who want a good suggestion on what band to see in town. I also want to find Alpha Kaba, with whom I went to high school, but it's been years since I've seen him. Do you know people you'd really like to be back in touch with?

Testimonials and Comments for Benjy
Benji and I made it to the final audition. We wanted to be edgy, we wanted to be crazy. Benji sang Barry White's, "Ecstacy when you lay next to me."
I played the classic Yoko Ono tune, "Touch me."
And we still haven't gotten over it, but we did not make the cut. Benjy's felony conviction and 'stache probably did not help convey the youthful innocence the show was trying to project.
Anyway, we remained friends, and who needs to be multi million dollar pop star? Not me, cause I am friends with Benji.

Note: Benji is not a convicted felon, he was only a juvenile offender.

Wonderful, magical, surprising,
absolutely useless things. I love
getting things in the mail. Who sends
things in the mail anymore? Benjy.
Every day I peer into the mailbox
wondering, 'what next?' He's a
wonderful friend and a fantastic human
being. And as you all know, I rarely
use those words. Which means they mean
something.
I can't tell you how much I admire

our gym - before he outed himself as straight. I cleaned up his vomit,
before it hit the table. I can't beat him in ping pong - he can't beat me
in wiffle ball - and bowling is too tough to call. Don't ask him to make
"crepes" - but do ask him to be your boy - cause his the best one I
know!
