Well, to begin with, she has a love affair
with burritos the likes of which I have
never seen. My dog and her dog like to
make out, and I hope someday they get
married and Meg and I can be Grandmas
in law! My absolute favorite part of the
night with Meg is when she starts flinging
her hair around. It makes me pee my
pants. She is going to move to
Steamboat Springs and live happily ever
after with me and we are going to have a
shrine to Johnny Damon.
camplike workout class together and it
was a great bonding experience for us
(just in case Aspen wasn't enough): We
laughed together (like when Meg bumped
heads with another student while doing
suicide runs) and we cried together
(like when the teacher approached the
two of us with raised gloves for the
jabbing-sprinting run, which meant we
had to punch at his gloves while we
ran, which, more importantly, meant we
had to keep up with him, probably
because he saw us laughing after Meg
ran into that other girl). Every thing
I do with Meg is FUN, or at least
funNY, since running into people,
objects, floors, etc is pretty typical
for her (and to think we weren't even
drinking during the workout!)
five years and she is the coolest girl
you ever want to meet. I love her
because she is sweet, smart, and
sophisticated. She is a great friend
and is destined to make some special
guy very happy!
meg it would go like this... I'm
jogging down a road, haight street I
think, by buena vista park. She passes
me jogging in a car and recognizes me
at the same time I recognize her. She
slows for a minute and rolls down her
window. I pull up along side the car,
resting my hand on the door, not
slowing my stride for the car that
hasn't stoped, I look at her and smile
and pant out a sentence about how
beautiful she is. She smiles and
thanks me. I can see she means it.
Then she looks at her watch. I
understand that she is late and must
get going. I let go of the car as it
accelerates and say "I love you" as
the car speeds towards the horrizon. I
notice a paper tumbling in the
vehicle's wake. It must have blown out
of the car when the window was open. I
jog to the paper and stop to pick it
up. Standing still in the middle of
the road I read it. "I love you too.
Thank you, Meg"
