      • About Me:

Im ruggels. My life is a patchwork quilt of multivariate experiences. I live in the grey area America so often denies exists. I grew up privileged and poor, was educated at schools reserved for the wealthy and for the proletariat . Ive eaten mac and cheese for an entire year and claim jumpers for another. Weekends were filled with riding the bus to any destination or flying first class to foreign countries. Ive been a minority, an outcast, an alpha male, and an academic. Ive worked menial jobs and have supervised people with masters degrees or entire west coast conferences. I make no excuses for my point of view or the truth I recognize without fear. Ive taken counsel with billionaires and bums and realize the only real difference between the two was personal motivation.

Goals are something I firmly believe in. I know where Im going to be in ten years and Its certainly not here. American culture, popular culture, has brought me to the point of no longer identifying with the term American. Instead I feel as a drifter, floating in this crazy fantasy world of California where people bitch about traffic, not struggle on a national level to get fed.

My Television sits on the opposite side of my room from where the cable connections hangs limp from the wall. Its not been plugged in for six years. It merely acts as a window into GT4 and supports my unweaving curiosity about all things automotive.

There stands a bookshelf against one wall in my room, filled with Melville and delillo post-modern texts I refer to on a weekly basis, as well as 100 dvds I can assure you youve never seen because they didnt come to a theater near you and are infinitely better then anything that has. Ask to burrow one, and Ill gladly oblige... see more on facebook as friendster sucks:

      • Who I Want to Meet:

Genuine people who dont seek drama or bs. Im a very
honest, straight shooting kind of guy. I call it like I
see it, yet Im open to new things; surprise me. English
speaking is a plus, j/k. Someone whos into cars, the
beach, not afraid of politics, able to actually think
critically about the world, must have a realistic world
view, must be smarter then me and it would be nice if
you've actually left this hegemony known as the USA once or
more times. Im really quite friendly, chat with me or
        something (eruggels on aim).

      • Erik is a really good guy. He may
play with a stern demeanor at times
but he really has a good heart. I
really appreciate how he has really
been very willing to help me when I
need it- like this one time when no
one would hold duty for me when I was
at PACURH and he said he could. He's
just a really good person that is very
willing to lend a helping hand. I
        really appreciate both working with
        him and knowing him.

      • I got to know Erik rather well on the
        Chaparral High School swim team.
Besides the amazing bond we had as a
team, Erik and I never had a problem
getting along. He's a very good-
hearted and kind person, and I feel
very lucky to call myself his friend.

      • Erik? Hmm ... I guess I'd like to thank
him for seducing a certain freshman one
year so we all may partake on the
bounty ... hahahaha ... in all
seriousness ... I have fun with this
guy ... pride here, pride there ... I
am proud of his strength and composure
        as a co-chair for a regional collegiate
        conference and he's a talented guy ...
        much luck to you.
