L’Arc~en~Ciel, means Rainbow in French was formed on February, 20th 1991 by Tetsu and Hiro [He quitted in early 1992 and Ken joined L’Arc~en~Ciel as a temporary guitarist. Tetsu persuaded Ken to be the permanent member. Ironically, Ken’s parents aren’t agree with Ken and they refused to talk to him until today. ]. Then, they found Hyde after watching his performance Jerusalem’s Rod [Hyde’s former band] and Pero [He quitted in the end of the year and Sakura joined in early 1993, but he quitted after being caught as a drug abuser in late 1997. Tetsu found Yukihiro in 1998. They believe, Yukihiro brings a good luck as he is the 7th member who joined L’Arc~en~Ciel, they linked it as rainbow has 7 colours. In fact, after Yukihiro joined L’Arc~en~Ciel, their career becomes even more shimmer than it used to be. ] Theretofore, they have released 11th albums. The latest one, KISS released on November 21st 2007. Their singles after KISS, Drink It Down [2008/04/02-Devil May Cry 4 OST] and Nexus 4 [2008/08/27]. Presently, they are working on their solo project.
