like a 1/3. on a good day. and on
roller skates. in august.
the OKC Ping Pong scene.......known for
her outstanding accuracy and stamina in
the long close games..........then I
came to town. When she first got a
whiff of my all-powerful forehand shot
with top spin on the side it was all
over........I gave her something to
dance to but she couldn't stay up with
the quick, syncopated rhythm of Adam'
s game. The Kelly Ping Pong empire
came crumbling down and the floodgates
holding back the pure athleticism and
genius of Adam's Ping Pong mind opened,
letting the dominance flow from Moore
to Edmond, from Del City to Midwest
City. From that moment, Susanne put
down the paddle, never to be heard from
again in the Ping Pong world. She said
she was turning to what she said
was "her true passion" of flying
planes. Rumors swarmed.....and then
rumors became legends. What happened to
the so called "Queen of ka-nip ka-
nap", "the Classen Crusher", "the
Terror of Carrie Place" you might ask?
Not much fact is known. Her public
appearances with sporatic. She was
spotted at the theatre on the opening
night of the movie "America's
Sweethearts" staring Julia Roberts, at
Oklahoma's centennial celebrations in
OKC in 2007, and also once in a Wal-
Mart gazing at the paddles and gas-
filled balls that once were her love
and life. It is also said that to this
day she uses table tennis boards on saw-
horses as her kitchen table, and that
her shower curtain is just many table
tennis nets sewn together.....that if
true, would be evidence that Ping Pong
was her true passion, her defeat
haunting her for life, and not flying
that she so pathetically tried to
convince us all was.
is one great girl, dedicated, talented,
interesting and a little goofy. I have
had the opportunity to fly with her
before, all I can say if she takes you
up and decides to do any "stunts" be
ready!
